Our story
Just months ago, my grandmother took the wrong medicine for weeks on end — quietly, faithfully, certain it was the right one. By the time we understood the mistake, it had already done serious harm. One small mix-up, repeated every single day.
Not long after, my own mother faced a serious health scare of her own. Sitting beside her, I made a quiet promise: the day she came through it, I would build something out of what I know — so that other families would be spared what ours went through.
I'm an app architect. So I built the one thing I could. Rx101 makes sure the right medicine, at the right dose, at the right moment is never left to memory or chance.
Built for every mom — with love.
This is that promise, kept.

Why your data stays yours
Privacy means privacy.
We've guarded your data with every safeguard we know of — and we keep raising the bar. Rx101 holds no database of your health; your record lives on your device. The only thing we ever collect is your preferences, so signing in on another device feels exactly as you left it.
Every medicine, diagnosis and vital is stored on-device in an encrypted database — not on our servers, because we don't run any that hold your data.
Basic text recognition runs on your device. Choose AI reading and your prescription goes to a trusted model just long enough to extract the details — then it's gone. Rx101 stores none of it.
Choose your own Google Drive or iCloud. The backup is end-to-end encrypted before it leaves your device — even we couldn't read it.
The on-device database is encrypted at rest, with its keys held in the platform's secure Keychain / Keystore — hardware-guarded, never in plain sight.
The one thing we sync is your preferences — so a new device feels exactly as you left it. Plus opt-in, anonymous usage stats, only if you allow them. Never your medicines, never your health.
Use Rx101 as a guest. Add a sign-in only when you want backup — and even then, it unlocks your own cloud, not ours.
Three steps
Photograph a prescription or lab report. Rx101 reads it on your device and shows you exactly what it found.
Give the medicines, doses and timings one clear confirm. They join a timeline that keeps your whole history in order.
Reminders land at the right minute, adherence stays honest, and your data is quietly backed up to your own vault.
Good to know
No. Rx101 keeps your record in an encrypted database on your own device. We don't operate a server that holds your medications, diagnoses or vitals.
To your own Google Drive or iCloud, and nowhere else. The backup is end-to-end encrypted on your device before it's uploaded, so only you can restore it.
You choose. Basic text recognition runs right on your device. For a sharper read, you can send the prescription to a trusted AI model — such as Google Gemini or Anthropic's Claude — to pull out the medicines, doses and timings. It's used only to read that one prescription in the moment: Rx101 stores none of it, and nothing is sent anywhere until you pick the AI option.
Yes. Add a profile for each family member, switch between them in a tap, and manage everyone's medicines and reminders from one shared, private account.
